Email received from resident, Nicole Bilton, requesting an exception be made to allow herself and her son to qualify for a reduced Rec Centre membership. 

Email received from Shannon Bezo, Regional Principal of the College of New Caledonia, requesting the District of Mackenzie provide a letter of support towards their grant application to the Northern Development Initiative Trust - Economic Infrastructure Grant program to fund the completion of the renovations and assets needed for CNC's Event/Teaching Kitchen space that was opened in 2021.

Is there anything Council wishes to address in the "For Consideration" or "Centre Table File" correspondence? 

Letter received from the City of Quesnel for support towards the Quesnel Highway 97 North-South Interconnector Project by resolution or letter of support. 

Service Canada will be in the Community on September 12th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:15 pm - 3:30 pm. 

Request received from the Canadian Institute of Forestry to participate in National Forest Week September 17-23, 2023. The one-week campaign challenges Canadians across the country to learn more about the forest sector and its significance to Canada's culture, history, and future, while also supporting a greater recognition of forests as a valuable, renewable and green resource. Suggested participation includes sharing promotional material from the Canadian Institute of Forestry on social media platforms.

  • International Cybernetics - Proposal for the 2023 Pavement Management Program
  • THAT this report be received for information.

  • THAT Council awards the 2023 Roadway Data Collection and Pavement Management Plan contract to International Cybernetics Canada Inc. in the amount of up to $45,168 plus applicable taxes;

    AND THAT the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to execute the contract and any related documentation.

  • THAT Council authorizes the Chief Administrative Officer to execute the attached lease agreement with TELUS Communications Inc. for use of the roof of the District water tower for communication purposes.
